Welcome to the extremely mellow Mellow Monday, this is: The Nap Ride! Comfy Clothes and Stuffies required 🩷 Mellow Monday WILL be meeting at Abernathy Elementary. We ARE hoping to see the swift’s roosting, although it’s still too early to know. It was a beautiful accident last year, and I can only hope we see them again. That being said, there will be a few noticeable differences! If we see the Swifts, upon arrival, music will be minimal to zero. We will meet as far away from the grassy area as possible, but please feel free to have a seat and watch the birds. Leave time will be pretty normal about 745. Keep an eye on the big Naked Hearts trailer, we will quietly move towards Ladd Circle where we will then conduct introductions, etc. Now, my nerdy self has been checking the bird alliance webpage and waiting for updates, and there has been no confirmation of sightings at Abernathy this year, it’s still early though. Tonight’s vibe is: “Imma take nap right here” meme. Pajamas and comfy clothes; a pillow, blanket and your favourite stuffie or two or ten, whatever your heart desires. There will be a short (ish)store stop for safe, clean restrooms but the main event is a short nap time in the park! This will be 20+ minutes. CONSENT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE! If you would like a big cuddle puddle please ASK first even if it’s your Partner/Wife/Husband.
