Spread your wings and prepare to bike - you will become a butterfly! It's not just a sweet sweet fantasy baby, we're celebrating Mariah on this leisure-paced ride (we'll try not to get OOC). Route Map link below: Expect an ~1.5 hr joy ride of ~9 miles, with a dance break stop at the 3 mile mark in the middle to shake it off at the Salmon Street Springs Fountain and enjoy refreshments (bring your own - there is no store stop.) * We will be taking some major streets - this ride is NOT a loop. PLEASE BRING WATER / BEVERAGES! It may be a warm one, so come prepared with hydration. Bring a bandana to soak with water for your neck. No store stops - just a bathroom break; so be sure to bring all the water, sunscreen, and snacks you’ll want. ** This is not a sober ride, but we ask folks to imbibe responsibly for the safety of everyone. ** This ride will have an open arms policy: no rider left behind, and we aim to provide a safer space for all folks. Got a big speaker? Bring it! How else can we get you feeling emotions? (higher than the heavens above.) We'll be sporting a large speaker, but we encourage everyone to bring their own music box so we can bounce to Mariah's incredible voice. (Link to a playlist below.) Not a fan of Spotify, but the service does offer a convenient way to link our speakers in a "Jam." I'll be utilizing this feature to link speakers if folks would like to. Not syncing with the Jam? All I ask is that you limit the music to Mariah Carey only, and that you turn down your music when it conflicts with a louder speaker (you can turn it back up when it doesn't.) Join us - we belong together! BANNED RIDERS: If you are banned from any rides, you are also banned from this ride. This ride will be a safer space for queer and bipoc folks with a zero tolerance policy for non-consent, discrimination, or phobic behavior. Never record others or take pictures without a person's verbal consent (no is a complete answer.) Google glasses are not allowed on this ride.
